RSDTVP connecting BW

This was my second connecting piece, this time it was for Midtown Comics in Manhattan and it was an honor. I learned a lot from the last one, mainly that I should draw them all at once, not months apart. All at once turned into 4 days and it was wonderful. It works, it connects, and they are all my current skill level. I would of course go to color it one a month still and end up being very unhappy with the colors personally XD

It has a dual purpose, that sitting for 4 days on one piece. It forced me out of a bad habit I havent ever been able to shake, and thats rushing to the end from the start. Because I can pencil and color, I tend to rush my pencils trying to get into colors. I learned how to walk away, and come back (because who wants to stay up for 4 days drawing) and afterwards it started a huge chain reaction in my head about how to look at it. Now, when I get that feeling where I know I have less patience for my piece...I walk away and come back the next day.

It works. And its worth it, good work takes time.
