this was definitely fun to do and a learning experience. i got to learn how to paint realistic fur. my tablet must hate me now for the thousands of little brush strokes.

anyways yeah, cover drawn for willow creek by Tyler Kirkham

painted by me.

the actual printed cover will feature a different version with more skin on the face. and due to having to butcher this version to get it to look that way, i chose to post this one.

werewolves with lots of skin instead of hair that look like giant hairless rats = FTL

your tablet appreciates your use of it, i'm sure. at least i do. and the hairlessness v.s the hairy is just a matter of opinion. but i personally think it depends on the design of it, i beleive. major kudos :)

Sounds like the publishers at the time where thinking of Underworld when they wanted a 'wolf with exposed skin.


I can't see any reason for it, because this is an awesome looking werewolf!
