yeah another from paris! when i knew id only be able to fit in one more sketch for the last day and this was it, i took my time a bit more and gave the last person something a bit better. they asked to have something kind of like my earth day picture.
again, mechanical pencil, finger, eraser, and vellum bristol.
I love your sketches, they always have so much detail into them. And it always amazes me that there is anyone who can have this amount of talent, but like they say, practice makes perfect. I hope to one day be as wonderful at drawin as you. It's always great look at your art peices.
Nice use of the eraser as a border around her hair and shoulders. I like this minimalistic approach to the hair. I think it's interesting how you pulled off the shading right under HER LEFT eye which depicts contours directly underneath. Although it's a minor critique, I feel (personal opinion) that the shadow under her jaw seems a little bit dull and doesn't communicate much of the contours of her neck. But it's a minor critique. In the end it still assists the pictures design in making the eye flow around the rest of the image just fine.
The drawing is really beautiful, and it's impressive how you manage to make it look almost as if you colored it digitally, only with pencil and finger. Great job!
