there are few things for which i consider myself a nerd, this is one of them.

i'd always wanted to paint this scene, so the other morning i did it quickly without ref to give it my own thing, about 2 hours.

I still love this movie...and I love the book too but for different reasons. Have you ever read the book? If not I highly recommend it...the oracle is so much more abstract and unusual and I think that's why I love it...:)

I love this scene, and it's very iconic in that film, but I wonder if anyone has ever done a depiction of that scene from the book. (In the novel, the southern oracle is an invisible voice, bouncing around a large hall full of pillars, and can only speak and understand in rhyme.)

As soon as I saw this, it brought back allot of memories NES one of the best fantasy movies, there's nothing like 80's fantasy.
