I love the design of this Blue Fairy! (And not just for the T & A either, though that certainly helps.) Very nice lighting as well.

It's also interesting seeing the process of Pinocchio turning into a boy as gradual, and not especially pleasant.

In the original story, the Blue Fairy is a kind of mother figure for Pinocchio. Dang, that's some mother figure!

...It didn't take. At least, not completely. Part of him is still wooden, I'll bet.
-or-
Damn fairies! First they turn you from a wooden marionette into a flesh and blood boy, then as a boy they pull your strings and turn you into a marionette *with* wood.

Meh. Needs work on my part. Nice job on the blue fairy; I'd go all James T. Kirk on her ass, which is beautifully limned by you. I understand there's a wooden boy in the graphic as well; I haven't seen him yet, so I can't comment...

And I agree with ~cutygirlEmily and about the mature content flag, though in a roundabout way: Somebody ought to hang a "Grow up" sign around her pencil-neck and pea-sized cranium. Why do people complain about accidentally seeing a cartoon of a blue fairy's (quite shapely) backside? I occasionally, accidentally, briefly see Oprah Winfrey or a Fox/CNN opinion piece while channel surfing, but I don't hack up a hairball about it. I just pick up the pace a little and move along...

We have a mature content sign at our pool bcoz people wear bikinis there. I mean, you can see there buts!

Why would there be a mature content flag? You can't even see the fig leaves she has over her ni99les cuz she has 'em covered up.

It is very nice artwork though. I love how it looks like the wood is phasing into skin and the sparkly magic effects. :D

perfect line of flow. you'd think with so much detail the color would get out of hand, even distracting, but you managed to keep the emphasis on the main subject (ie jis facial expression and her but), while making keeping everything rich and natural rather than dull (which happens a lot when you try and declutter a pic by not using too much color).
WUV IT!! you a beast

Wow, this is fantastic!

On a side note, this fairy reminds me a bit of the ones in Legend of Zelda. Anywho, I spent quite a bit of time just looking at the progress of the transformation and admiring all the details.

And yes, it made me ponder for the first time just how painful such a transformation could potentially be--Disney glossed it over.

Instant favorite.
