I love the way you made it appear as though the light is coming from her instead of from an outside source. She glows, and the softness really shows. The anatomy is beautifully done. Stylized, but not overtly so. What I really like is that you gave her breast weight. So many artists draw breasts that have no weight. They sorta float or somehow have superpowers to stay up perfect regardless of what's going on. What you've done is give her a more real appearance.
Wow, your pencil's are getting better. I dont think people realize comic book art isnt meant to be super realistic. The hyper realistic style artist's suck IMO. I love JSC, Joe Mad, and Todd McFarlanes stuff, that being said... anatomy doesnt have to be perfect. The art just has to look good and this is amazing!
If this doesn't embody the pure beauty of the feminine form, I don't know what does. This is by far my favorite piece and I don't typically care much for angels. But the serenity in her face somehow compliments the dynamic movement of her body. Just beautiful.
I read the comments following the disappearance of the critic. I certainly do not know anatomy and would scarcely critique artwork based on anatomy. I chose to watch you because I have enjoyed your artwork. And I will continue to do so, with only praise. I very rarely have time to offer really constructive feedback, unless I see something completely out of proportion I don't really even usually consider myself qualified. But I toss a fav out if something appeals to my eyes. I gotta say I like everything about this pic. it really appeals to my sense of aesthetic, if people are being overly critical they are just being mean.
