got back home and shuddered in repulsion at how yellow and icky my new paintings looked, so i fixed it. not to mention how blurry they were.... and the skintones look like crap compared to the other screen.
sat here in sioux falls, sick on my birthday and i'm currently stealing a neighbors internet. decided to give myself a treat by painting something of my own, maybe i'll start another one....
eh, so yeah. her tail is feathers, not fish scales....pretty much nothing here has much reason to it and it's not supposed to.
also, i'm not entirely sure how this looks for real, i'm using my new laptop screen and it hadsn't been calibrated, plus it's too bright for sure.
lastly, this is my first piece painted with my new intous 4!
Is it worth upgrading to the Intuos4? I still have my big Intuos3 9"x12". I also heard the current Cintiq tablets will be dropping in price when the new Cintiq model comes out in around six months or so, but I'm not sure I want to invest in a Cintiq b/c of the cost.
well i know i dont want to invest, i prefer the intous. but if you have an intous 3, keep it. i didn't really notice a difference when i started using the I4.
I heard some things about the I4 and the pen nibs running down faster because of the texture of the drawing surface. Have you experienced those problems?
