some more pages from first wave.

some of you know i love painting rain,

even fewer of you know i miss rain so bad sometimes it hurts.

well, coloring these pages during a rainy season for us in southern california had made my month. too bad the folks in the hills were dealing with such disaster.

I love rain and thunderstorms, best sleep medicine for me. Being a Scorpio makes me a water sign and I do miss it when it rains. I used to live in Jamaica when I was small and it would rain well enough. I used to go to sleep during the storms.

Now I live in NY and the oddball weather. Snow is not a substitute. Even when it is pure white and the sky has that nice color at night, I always wish it will rain to wash all the damn snow away. Its supposed to rain soon my spirits are slightly up.

:D Kinda backwards isnt it. I feel good when its mucky and wet and rainy and grey (a favorite color of mine). And unless it is a bright blue sunny day the day just seems like trash.

Also, I dont mind getting wet in the rain, nobody should if they take baths/showers. A little rain wont kill you :p

yeah i am the same way. down here it's almost always sunshine, and thats fine for most people i guess. but it's the rainy days that make you appreciate the grey days. we have lots of grey days that tease rain, and it never does.

i agree with the getting wet thing too, when it rains i dont rush around trying to get out of it, i take my time. i also make it a point to go for 2 hour long walks in it, providing it's not too cold anyways.

I would like California for the lack of snow but I think it might be too busy for me. The thing about America is that everyone is always in a hurry. Everyone is trying to meet some deadline. And the happier and healthier people are not on that wavelength. Hard working is one thing but a lot of people just can seem to know how to take time to appreciate life.

Some people say they hate when it rains because they cant get to do anything. And I wonder, what the hell is stopping you? Its just water. And I agree with what you said, the rainy days do make you appreciate the grey days. I guess natures way of telling some people to slow down for a change. Breathe for a moment out of your busy hectic life. People need to do that more.

northern cali has snow, i grew up sort of right in the middle and now i live down here. they dont have seasons here! everything is green and full of life year round. although, we do only get floweers in the spring.

i will go where the snow is not. although i would like to live in south korea if i ever get the chance. lots of great places in the world to live :)

In the whole of the cemetery scenes, in the rain. It really felt like a grey March day. You're work on it is amazing.
