This piece was a huge bucket list undertaking for me. Cliffhanger Jam 2015 CMYK by ToolKitten

I read Crimson in highschool, Have always loved J. Scott's work and read Gen13, (though not DG) and was always a huge fan of Joe Mad thanks to a high school art class friend Battlechasers = THE SHIT. I got raw covers of books I've owned for years, as reference for coloring this.

And lastly, Joe Mad was the only other big shot I've been after that I wanted to color left on my list. It lead to more work as well, and opened opportunities I wouldn't have ever seen coming.

It took 2 days to set up and color, and I've spent 2 more days writing a 3 part tutorial to it, from start to finish.

part 1 is prepping large group shot for color

part 2 is rendering large group shots using stacking color theory

part 3 is finalizing group shots.

They are quite extensive and take you through every step in DETAIL with settings displayed and explained. Its the biggest most detailed tutorial I have ever made, and I'm quite proud of it, in the end.

if you join for $10 you can get all these and every past tutorial, as well as already prepped pieces ready to color, flatted pieces! also lines for practice and layered files for learning.

fourth page of the new story created out of my dreams and through an amazing writer named Pat Shand.

Azure is about the physical weight of depression. How the flickering, golden moments of a day can make you feel like you’re flying, and how the darkness can manifest into a nightmarish monster.

This story is being created step by step on patreon, if you would like to see the process of the entire creation of a comic (and how I work specifically) you can sign up on www.patreon.com.neiruffino

Your work's amazing.  I'm still learning my way around DeviantArt so forgive me if I'm missing something obvious but where can I see if you're available to do a commission art piece and your rates if so?  Having the same issue looking at other artists.  Looking to compare rates on an MLB/Walking Dead piece I'd like to commission.  Is there somewhere on DA I should post 'job available' or something?

Love your art.

Actually searched for your dA gallery after finding your art here (flic.kr/p/v3wP7r), just making sure you know it's there, as there is no description crediting you or linking back here.
